Metaphorically. Figuratively. Literally—teeth. Posey and Cookie are my framiliar—quiet, watchful, and fully present in the space where I live and work. They move softly through the room, stretch out where the light falls, and communicate in ways that are easy to miss if you aren’t paying attention. Rabbits don’t signal like other animals. Their language is subtle—micro-communicative cues, periscoping, shifts in posture, pauses, and presence. You learn to notice small changes:
