Lisa is a seasoned professional, holding credentials as a Registered Art Therapist and Supervising Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor. Specializing in trauma intervention, she is deeply committed to aiding both children and adults who have faced adverse life events such as sexual abuse, physical abuse, neglect, loss, and domestic violence.

Beyond trauma-focused work, Lisa possesses a strong background in crisis response, conducting assessments of lethality and risk levels, and developing tailored response plans. Her experience extends to direct care, consultation services, and program management. Lisa has spearheaded numerous projects, including curriculum development and grant writing, and has innovatively integrated art-based interventions with evidence-based materials, particularly in higher levels of care settings such as adult and youth Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP), Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP), and inpatient facilities.

With over 19 years of experience in Mental Health and Substance Abuse, Lisa brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her practice. Proficient in a variety of therapeutic approaches including Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TFCBT), Screening, Brief Intervention, and Referral to Treatment (SBIRT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Crisis Assessment, Motivational Interviewing, she incorporates depth work inspired by Carl Jung into her therapeutic approach
